Reyhaneh Alborz

Reyhaneh Alborz studied chemical engineering and obtained her Master from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic) as an Exceptional Talent student. She has worked on materials for catalysis and for electrochemical energy storage. For her PhD research in the CTFM chair, Reyhaneh now develops ‘solution ALD’ methods for generating ultrathin layers of semiconductors featuring structures and properties reminiscent of the lead halide perovskites but non-reliant on lead.

Reyhaneh has been awarded a doctoral fellowship by the Stiftung der Deutschen Wirtschaft and also participates in the research and education program of our Collaborative Research Center ‘ChemPrint’.
