Lara Kim Linke is starting her doctoral research in the Crispies group in October 2026. She previously worked in the group as a research assistant, contributing to projects on metal sulfide and metal oxide nanoparticles, and is already a published first author: her work includes a study of phonon–exciton decoupling in CuInSnS4 single crystals (Advanced Optical Materials, 2026) and a colloidal organometallic synthesis route to solution-processable barium titanate nanoparticles for nanoelectronic applications (Nanoscale, 2025), alongside a co-authored study on solution-processed NiO materials for urea oxidation catalysis (ACS Applied Energy Materials, 2026). Her PhD work will change gears, focusing on the processing of mycelium into Li ion battery electrodes.
