Goals

We have been pursuing the following key objectives as part of our existing Expired Drug Initiative for more than seven years now:

  • Improved information on the correct handling of expired drugs
  • Evaluation of innovative concepts for the nationwide collection of expired drugs
  • Development of efficient processes for the recovery of research chemicals from expired drugs
  • Promotion of research and teaching through the transfer of recovered research chemicals
