Prof. Dr. Jörg Libuda appointed to the Research Advisory Board of the Fonds der Chemischen Industrie (FCI)

Prof. Dr. Jörg Libuda, Chair of Interface Research and Catalysis, has been appointed to the Research Advisory Board of the Fonds der Chemischen Industrie (FCI) with effect from January 1, 2024.

As a funding organization of the association of the German chemical industry, Verband der Chemischen Industrie e.V. (VCI), the Fonds der Chemischen Industrie (FCI) promotes chemistry education in schools, young scientists, and basic research in chemistry and chemistry-related disciplines. The support measures of the Fonds der Chemischen Industrie are diverse and range from broad-based support in schools to top-level support at universities. The funding measures are financed by contributions from VCI member companies. The FCI funding budget is currently around twelve million euros per year.
