Dr. Maïssa Barr obtained her Bachelor in Physics and Chemistry, Master in Materials for Energy, and Ph. D. in Materials Chemistry from Aix-Marseille University in France. She performed her doctoral research with Dr. Lionel Santinacci at CINAM.

Maïssa started her independent career at CTFM with support from FAU’s excellence cluster ‘Engineering of Advanced Materials’ and the ‘Emerging Talents Initiative’ on the surface chemistry of solution ALD. She has now moved to École des Mines de Saint-Étienne for her primary appointment but she remains associated with our lab at FAU.

Maïssa advises Xinyi Zeng and Aleksandra Klassa for their work at the CTFM chair.
