Efficient charge separation at material interfaces is a key prerequisite for photocatalytic solar fuel production. In his master’s thesis, Tailoring Interfacial Charge Separation in Transition Metal Dichalcogenide Nanosheet Networks for CO₂ Reduction, Fabià Boixadós Meinhard investigated how nanoscale engineering can be used to optimize charge-transfer processes in transition metal dichalcogenide networks, providing new perspectives for photocatalytic CO₂ reduction.
For this outstanding research, Fabià has been awarded the Zerweck Masterpreis, which recognizes exceptional master’s theses and academic excellence. His work combines fundamental insights into interfacial photophysics with materials design, contributing to the development of next-generation photocatalytic systems for sustainable energy conversion.
The Guldi Group congratulates Fabià on this well-deserved recognition and wishes him every success in the next stage of his scientific career.
