We are happy to welcome our new group member Semanur.
Semanur obtained her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Marmara University in Istanbul. During her undergraduate studies, she joined TUBITAK as an intern. She also participated in the Erasmus program and worked for one year at the University of Stuttgart as an intern.
Following her bachelor’s degree, she completed her master’s studies at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU). Her master’s thesis, entitled “Towards high-awareness nanoparticles: MPS studies on nanoparticle design and their interactions”, was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Karl Mandel.
She has been pursuing her PhD in the Mandel group since June 2026. Her doctoral research focuses on the design and development of materials for 3D printing with a particular emphasis on particle-based materials.
