Big congrats to Eli for acceptance of our newest work about the PBFT photoswitch in Angewandte Chemie!!! We proudly present an incredibly capable photoswitch that can be operated with invisible light up to 900 nm producing strong color changes between bright green and deep blue. We discovered a capable material – commercial and transparent jelly candle wax – to manufacture easy DIY 2D and 3D displays that can be written and erased with very low-energy light. Big step for near infrared photochromes!!
