New Publication in Advanced Science

Our latest publication in Wiley Advanced Science: “Remote Magnetomechanical Neuromodulation Uncovers Therapeutic Mechanisms for Alleviating Parkinsonian Symptoms in Freely Moving Mice” is now online.

This is the first in-vivo demonstration of our wireless, minimally invasive platform for remote magnetomechanical neuromodulation. Using biocompatible magnetic nanodiscs and externally applied magnetic fields, we demonstrate a new approach to modulating neural activity with high precision and low invasiveness.

This work highlights the potential of magnetomechanical stimulation as a powerful tool for neuroscience research and future bioelectronic therapies. Beyond fundamental insights into neural modulation, the study opens exciting opportunities for developing next-generation therapeutic strategies for neurological disorders.

A big thank you to our collaborators from University of Maastricht who made this joint work possible.
