Today we held the “Day of the open Lab” for pupils at our department! The Dube group contributed with the “Nano-World” experience, where we showcase molecular switches and machines to highlight how chemistry makes nanotech. We installed different stations showing the whole research workflow from in-silico design, to synthesis, analysis and visualisation by 3D printing, to applications in invisibly written 3D displays and 2D photographs for selfie-opportunities. A day filled with science and joy!! Big thanks to Lilli, Dipti, David, Nico, Sven, Elias, and Alex!
