PhD students of the Research Training Group GRK 2423 “Fracture across Scales” (FRASCAL) cordially invite you to their new lecture series “1st FRASCAL Virtual Colloquium”. The inaugural event will be on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 2:00 pm with Alexander Hartmaier from Ruhr-Universität Bochum on “Bridging the scales in fractures and damage mechanics”. The colloquium is held weekly and discusses recent findings in the field of modeling fractures on various length and time scales.

GRK 2423 consists of scientists from the Faculty of Sciences and the Faculty of Engineering. At the Faculty of Sciences, researchers from the Departments of Chemistry and Pharmacy, Mathematics, and Physics are involved. The lecture series is organized by the PhD students.
