Visit at Roche production site in Penzberg

On the 27th of February, PD Dr. Gieseler organised an excursion to the site of Roche Diagnostics in Penzberg. 20 students attending his seminar ,,Lyophilisation‘‘ accompanied him and thus got the chance to gain insight into the workaday life of the company. The group was welcomed by a general introduction to the Roche group and different sections. The following speech handled the planning procedure and working operation of freeze-dryers. The highlight of the agenda was the inspection of the production building and the glimpse of the installed machines. A special thanks to Dirk Scheffauer and Dr. Gieseler for this unique possibility!
