Prof. Dr. Dagmar Fischer

The Fischer group is focussed on the development of natural and synthetic micro- and nanocarriers for drug delivery in the field of infection, inflammation and inflammation-related diseases as well as aging. A major focus is related to biopharmaceutical test systems according to the 3R principle to investigate the life cycle of drug delivery systems and the influence of the physiological environment. Furthermore, nanosafety and safe-by-design concepts as well as quality assurance concepts are provided



Congratulations to Ula Savsek!

Ula received the Student Poster Award at the 20th Annual International Symposium for Therapeutic Ultrasound in Korea with her poster entiteled 'Investigation of Sonosensitive PLGA and PEG-PLGA Nanocapsules for Drug Delivery with Use of Focussed Ultrasound'.

The 13th German edition of the Voigt's „Pharmazeutische Technologie“, an interdisciplinary textbook covering the fundamental principles of pharmaceutical technology, is now available, under the contribution of Prof. Fischer as author of several chapters.

At 1.10.2020 we joined the pharmacy team at FAU and look forward to many collaborations!
