Welcome Noémie!
We are happy to welcome our new guest Noémie Chantry.
Noémie obtained her M.Sc. in Chemical and Materials Engineering in 2022 from UCLouvain University in Belgium, during which she conducted a master thesis entitled “Redox-active Rhodium complexes as a DNA photo-oxidizing agent”. In 2022, she started doctoral work at the UCLouvain University in Belgium, where her main focus was on the encapsulation of photoactivatable transition metal complexes for antineoplastic application. She joined the Guldi Group in June 2024 to work on dinuclear Ruthenium(II), Osmium(II), Iridium(III) and Rhodium(III) metal complexes.
She will contribute to our efforts within the study of photocatalysis mechanisms to create more efficient solar energy conversion.
