Prof. Dr. Dirk M. Guldi, Chair of Physical Chemistry I, and his research group are more successful in science than ever before. According to an analysis by scopus.com, Guldi’s more than 750 publications have been cited more than 40,000 times in over 19,000 publications.

The h-index, which measures the worldwide reputation of a scientist, is 100. With almost 1100 citations, the publication “Organic functionalization of carbon nanotubes” from 2002 in the Journal of the American Chemical Society has been cited most frequently to date.

The Guldi Laboratory and its network are among the leaders in worldwide research on solar energy conversion and have experience not only in “advanced photon and charge management” but also in the development of tailor-made materials and molecular modelling.
