FAU hosts this year’s SolTech Conference

The annual conference of the research network “Solar Technologies Go Hybrid” (SolTech) will take place in the DB Museum in Nuremberg from September 30, 2019 until October 2, 2019. The event will be hosted by Prof. Dr. Tim Clark of FAU’s Computer Chemistry Center, who serves as general coordinator for SolTech.

SolTech is financially supported by the Bavarian State Ministry for Science and the Arts, and is comprised of so-called Key Labs at five Bavarian universities (FAU, University of Bayreuth, University of Würzburg, and LMU and TUM in Munich) as well as a research group at the University of Augsburg. The research network is currently in the middle of its second five-year funding period, which runs until the end of year 2021. At the FAU, SolTech supports the research of eleven total working groups, mainly at the Department of Chemistry and Pharmacy.
