Excursion to BIONORICA SE (Neumarkt i. d. Opf.)

On Monday 21th December 2017, the Division of Pharmaceutics and half of the current students made an excursion to BIONORICA SE at Neumarkt i. d. Oberpfalz.

We enjoyed different interesting lectures about the company itself, preclinical and clinical research and last but not least pharmaceutical development at BIONORICA.

After lunch, we had the unique chance to visit the production site of BIONORICA. All production steps were explained to us closely and we saw for example the huge percolators for the extraction. Furthermore we had a look into the laboratory of galenical research.
