Ganesan Sobhiga

Sobhiga Ganesan obtained her MSc in chemistry (Polymer) from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam in 2022. She completed her master’s thesis at CSIR-NCL, Pune, on the electrochemical reduction of nitrates to ammonia using novel electro catalysts. In 2023, she joined the International Inter University Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (IIUCNN), Mahatma Gandhi University, as a Project Associate under an Indo-Slovenian international project. In July 2025, she began her Ph.D. in the Guldi group, where she is currently working on novel photo induced electron donor–acceptor systems to enhance the efficiency of solar energy conversion.
