Mass Spectrometry Lab

As an analytical service unit of the Chairs of Organic Chemistry we measure all types of MS samples for the scientific coworkers of the Organic Institute. We also provide service for other associates of the FAU as well as for external customers on request.

The laboratory runs four modern mass spectrometers (one sector field and three TOF instruments) for normal and high resolution mass determinations with different ionization methods (EI, ESI, APPI, MALDI). In addition, GC/MS, LC/MS and MS/MS experiments can be provided on request.
