06./07.03.2026 Two-day BLAK Seminar “Pediatric Extemporaneous Formulations” by Dr. Stefan Seyferth and Dr. Andreas Ziegler

Back in the lab – twenty-four trained pharmacists took part in the advanced training course on pediatric pharmacy offered by the Bayerische Landesapothekerkammer in Erlangen. The program covered key aspects such as selecting appropriate excipients and preservatives, as well as suitable devices and dosage forms for children of different ages. Practical sessions gave an update on compounding techniques for capsules, suspensions, and suppositories relevant in pediatrics. The hands-on work was both enjoyable and, for some participants, a nostalgic reminder of their university lab days.
