We are happy to welcome our new guest Giulia

Giulia Pancotti obtained her M.Sc. in Photochemistry and Molecular Materials at the University of Bologna in 2022, where she conducted her master’s thesis on the Dynamic Kinetic Resolution of a Mechanically Planar Chiral [2]rotaxane.

In 2022, she started her Ph.D. at the Institute of Materials Science of Barcelona (ICMAB-CSIC), focusing on the synthesis and characterization of chiral semiconductors for applications in organic electronics.

Giulia joined the Guldi Group in November 2025, where she is now working together with Giovanni to investigate asymmetry in charge-separation processes using transient absorption spectroscopy on chiral organic solar cells. She will contribute to our efforts within the study of solar energy conversion to create more efficient organic devices.
