Yifan Bo Receives the Schüssler Prize for Research Excellence and Social Engagement
We are proud to announce that Yifan Bo has been awarded the prestigious Hans-Wilhelm und Helga Schüssler-Preis. This award recognizes Yifan’s outstanding research contributions in photochemistry and spectroscopy, highlighted by her 23 publications, including a notable review in Accounts of Materials Research. Her work on down- and up-conversion materials exemplifies innovative research with substantial real-world implications. Beyond her scientific achievements, Yifan’s exemplary social engagement has played a critical role in bridging cultural gaps at FAU. She has been a key force behind intercultural initiatives and has provided unwavering support to Chinese visiting scholars, facilitating their integration into our community and enriching cultural exchanges. Her efforts in hosting high-level delegations and aiding student recruitment in China have significantly elevated FAU’s international presence.
