Prof. Guldi visits McGill University Montreal
In May 2025, Professor Dirk M. Guldi visited McGill University in Montreal, Canada, to engage in a dynamic scientific exchange and present his latest research.
During his visit, Prof. Guldi delivered a well-received lecture titled “Adaptive Light Management” to faculty, researchers, and students at McGill. His talk highlighted innovative approaches in the field of photochemistry and nanomaterials, focusing on strategies to optimize light harvesting and energy conversion through adaptive molecular systems. The presentation sparked lively discussion and showcased the potential of molecular-level engineering to enhance solar energy utilization.
During his visit, Prof. Guldi also met with Professors Gonzalo Cosa and Dmitrii Perepichka for in-depth scientific exchange. These conversations opened avenues for potential collaboration between FAU and McGill in the fields of photochemistry and advanced organic materials.
As a key member of FAU Solar—the university’s interdisciplinary Profile Center focused on solar energy—Prof. Guldi’s visit also supported FAU’s broader mission to foster international research partnerships in the field of renewable energy.
